Baths Children's Literature Festival

Well it has been an amazing festival this year with, so many wonderful artists attending:

Guest writers this year include:

Funnyman Harry Hill talking about his creation Matt Millz, Britain’s youngest comedian.

Bath-born Jacqueline Wilson, returning by popular demand and giving her fans the chance to buy copies of the new Tracy Beaker book ahead of its official publication date.

Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler, creators of The Gruffalo, will be talking about their new book The Smeds and the Smoos, a love story of alien folk.

Sophie Dahl will be visiting for a chat about her first children’s book, which features the mysterious Madame Badobedah.

Former Children’s Laureate Malorie Blackman explores topical themes, including the balance of power, race and class in her new novel Cross Fire.

McFly’s Dougie Poynter will be tackling another hot issue of the day, waste, when he talks about his new book, Plastic Sucks.

Dates are set for next year's Festival running from 25th September - 4th October 2020
